I think it’s safe to say that no one expected Kevin Arnold and Kermit the Frog to show up in the Coalition’s “who would you entrust the safety of the world” theme!! Of course the more expected MacGyver also made an appearance, I wonder though if Chuck Norris is going to make it in the suggestions next week as the theme continues!
Around the coalition:
Matt has spent this week taking out a bunch of assassins while heading for the garden of madness. He also tapped into some deep well of hatred for olives.
He felt vindicated.
Dan has done absolutely nothing of note. He really should get out more.
SG-3 is busy arranging accommodation for the family’s biggest trip away since the triplets were born – a bigger logistical nightmare than Pooh’s Expotition to the North Pole! Three nights in sunny Sheffield (that is, Sheffield, Tasmania!), which we will use as a stepping-off place for some great day-trips, we hope!
Jeff has come up with some new online business ideas that will probably never see the light of day, but are really good. Again. He also managed to see a copy of the new ABC show No Ordinary Family and decided it does a better job than most shows in at least one area.
Lee spent the greater part of his week furiously churning his way through the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. Next week he expects to be furiously churning his way through withdrawals. Between Avatar and work he did manage to contemplate the future of comic book shops and try to share a little Batdance with everyone.
Arjan is currently missing in action but I’m sure he’s doing something awesome
I wás actually doing some awsome stuff..well not that much so. Had my last day at work at the ISProvider so I should change my profile. Had a goodbye-party from a friend who’s emigrating to Finland with his girlfriend.
Yesterday it was again time to have a drink, but this time ‘celebrating’ that Groningen (my home town) outlasted a siege in 1672..they celebrate it every year.
A game of warhammer again today. So..yeah..my days have been filled with work and parties and sleeping off those parties
I dó have my next post done for 90%
Chuck who?
Are there only lads on the Coalition of Awesomeness? Perhaps you need a feminine point of view, however one that posts more often than I. I’m just sayin.
And here’s my two cents worth on a leader to get us out of this quagmire; “The Dread Pirate Roberts”.
That’s the nice thing about the-coa, we don’t have to post often.
There was no conscious decision to exclude women from the coalition, we’ve just pulled together the core group first and we’ll be expanding as time moves on!
We just haven’t found a woman yet who is willing to talk to us.
I didn’t figure there was a decision to exclude women, sarcasm just doesn’t transfer well through the interwebs. Carry on…
I’m sure Lee picked up on it
Commenting here already proves you’re awesome .
