This week sees the end of our first theme here at the Coalition and I think that emulators are going to go through the roof with all the talk of retro gaming and past glories relived thanks to “our fondest gaming memories”. If you are inspired enough to check out one of the games mentioned then you should drop us a line!!
Next week is going to be… well… awesome as the Coalition as the new theme “Cancellations” kicks off on Monday. Expect to see all your online petitions to save various television shows over the years dragged back up! Or maybe someone will write about a show or series that should be cancelled, subscribe to make sure you don’t miss any of it!
Around the Coalition:
Matt became a free man this past week as he paid off his student loans!!! Unfortunately there was no lion fighting or jumping through flaming windows involved just the simple exchange of hard earned sweaty lumps of cash but it’s awesome none the less! Whilst celebrating his financial freedom Matt’s also been yearning for a little bear fighting between Zangief (Street Fighter trained by bears) and Kuma (Tekken actual bear).
SG-3 managed to finally see King Kong over the week and we shall press him for his opinion sometime.
Arjan is taking it easy this weekend and playing some Warhammer 40K though I guess that might not be classified as taking it easy by some people! He’s also in the plotting stages of a new blog…
Speaking of new blogs Dan apparently launched a new blog but then didn’t… but he did review The Tooth Fairy and manage to stay on topic during the Midnight Movie Club’s look at NeverEnding Story with Lee.
Speaking of Lee, he has a Kick Ass competition going on (only for Aussies though) on his blog and is looking forward to the public holiday he’s got coming up!!
Finally Jeff has been inspired to write about the social gaming experience after our last theme and he makes some excellent points and a great summary of the Coalition’s thoughts.
Be sure to check us out this week for “Cancellations”!
Ninja guitar duel…. NICE!
I’m sure Dan would have preferred they have ukuleles
If anyone could think of a way to make a ukulele awesome, it would be Dan.
Everything involving ukuleles is intrinsically awesome
I’ve seen this picture a lot of times, but it never has been used as well as on this blog
Just awesome.
